I know this is probably well konwn to most, but herby the love bug is on TV here at the moment on a sunday morning, and sure enough some sunbeam racers appear.. there was an in car shot of him passing a red SI/II Alpine with roll bar and on the starting grid from the in car shows a later alpine or tiger (had side exhausts and mesh in the radiator grill)...
always brings a smile to see sunbeams on TV... i would normally not be impressed by a bettle beating our cars.. but given it's blowing the doors of a Ferrari 250SWB, cobra and Birzanni i'll let it slide!
