Lucas L661 Reversing Light Mounting

What is the proper spot to mount these Lucas reversing lights? I would like to be as factory correct as possible as long as I am at it. I have seen mention of plugged holes in the lower rear valence that are used for mounting the Wipac version of these lights. For some strange reason, my car does not seem to have any such holes back there. Do these Lucas lights mount on some sort of bracket that bolts to the bumper mounting bracket? Anyone have such lights installed as a factory or dealer option? Is it more correct to have the lights activated by a switch triggered by engaging reverse via the transmission shifter, or by some sort of push pull switch mounted in or under the dash? If on the dash, where does it go?

Thanks for any and all help!

Gene,

The factory only used 2 types of reversing lights to my knowledge, the early style SI-SIV which was the sparto twin jet type (they look like little exhausts)

and the rectangular WIPAC rear mounted units that went under the valence with some spacers to make the horizontal.

If you send me an email i can give you a full run down of each with pictures.
