I know many have already done this, but I just got around to it after 37 years. Think how easy it would be to Hotwire a Tiger. I installed a battery-disconnect kit from Watsons Streetworks in my '40 Ford Street Rod, my Datsun 510, & my Tiger. On the Tiger I concealed the solenoid behind the passenger side trunk panel, mounted it to the inside of the wheel house adjacent to the fuel tank, splicing into the cable that runs between the battery & the starter. I ran the toggle switch wire through the interior & mounted it inside the console, behind the ashtray. A hot wire is run also to keep your clock & radio presets intact. I feel a lot better now when leaving the old girl for hours at a car show or a parking lot.
