Dr Larry Mayfield has broken the Sunbeam speed record that had stood since 1927. Here is a link to post and pictures on the STOC website.

Odd but link doesn't go directly there. You must click on Message Board in left side row of orange buttons, then click on
Sunbeam Tiger, then click on Landspeed Record Broken. It's worth the effort.
