Hi all,

Have any of you guys converted your cars for 5 lug wheels?

I believe you can buy Aerospace and Wilwood billet front hubs and wondered if it enabled the fitment of wider or more deep-dished wheels?

Do you need a different rear axle and if so what is the best option?

Many thanks

OK,

An answer, i have not converted a car to 5 lug.. but have personally seen 3 cars and on the net maybe another 10. There doesnt seem to be a comon setup used, its largely a bespoke setup.

I believe some have used mustang II hubs, Dale A sells a kit with 5 lugs, perhaps dan walters (not 100% sure) wrote a tech tip a while back about doing it.

Hoppers stoppers in australia will make you a set of CNC'd hubs with desired offset and brake upgrades (owain lloyd CAT and STOC member) had a set of these done for his Tiger in the Uk.

The wider/deeper dish on the wheels would depend on the relative distance of the mounting face to the guard and position in terms of total track width. In other words.. depending on what you use your results may vary.
