Gas Leak Smell

My "66" has a strong odor of gasoline, particularly behind the passenger side tail light. No evidence of leakage at couplings (dry to the touch). Have had that particular tank pressure tested at radiator shop (no leaks). Any ideas anyone?

There is a rubber breather hose that runs between the 2 tanks around the top under the rear scuttle.. maybe that has cranked/come off? Is it worse on full tanks?

Thanks but that cannot be the culprit. The car sat for 10 days with 3 gal. of gas and the odor still prevailed. I suppose it is one of the couplings leaking but not bad enough to "wet" anything.
