For those of you reading my posts on the Ron Davis radiator, here is the bottom line.

Perfect fit and a work of welding art.

They "do not" supply the ninety degree fitting on the top of the radiator that heads over to the fill tank. That is on you/me.

Fair warning.

Update. Although today was only sixty eight degrees I thought I would check the gauge against the heat gun. At an idle in the garage after a five mile drive the gun reading on the radiator was 175 degrees. An average engine temp, heads, block and intake was 210 degrees. The gauge with new sender was 215 degrees. Yes, I know when you do a sender you are supposed to calc the gauge to it, or other way around.

I can't wait for some heat so I can really check temps

Current status is, new aluminum radiator (Ron Davis), water pump (Sunbeam Specialties) and thermostat, hoses, stock fan blade and Gano Filter (clear housing).

Thanks Rick Mueller for the heads up on the Gano. That little gem has trapped a number of unwanted items so far.

I went out this morning to obtain my Earls aluminum fitting for the rad.
Until my next adventure...........so long.
