Bill,

Are you reffering to the straight short shift lever? If so they moved from those quite early (haven't got the #'s with me)

Does anyone know the car? What i find intriguing about some cars on ebay is the auction will list things like letters to the various clubs etc as some sort of provenance, and in this case i love the the TAC is not working.. :D is that a freudian slip? I assume they meant the "tach" or they bolded TAC to imply something?

As a side note, i'm not saying the car is algered, i'm just saying there are a lot of unusual details that would make me want to run a TAC check on it before spending the hard earned.. if it was legit it's a car with some nice options and would not be hard to put back to stock... most all the hard to find parts are there.

oh.. and whats with the engine colour?

I believe only the first 56 Mk1's had the T-10 with the short shift lever.
