Hi All...

I have a AM Sunbeam radio that came out of a 69 Sunbeam GT that appears
to be very close or is the same radio available for the 65 Tigers. It's in very good condition all things considered !! Does anyone have any recommendations
or experiance with a company that does this sort of restoration/conversion ???

I have the WR1 radio in my Mk1, as seen in the dealer accessory catalog. The PO had it restored a couple of years ago and it is still working fine (can't really hear it over the air rushing by...not much on AM anyway).

The following is the outfit used to do the restoration:

Classic Car Radio Service

Hope that helps

Thank you for the information !!! I will probably send it to them and see what it
takes to get it running again. The front bracket dimensions are 3.5w x 1.5h with
the knob spacing at 5.25" on center which just happens to be identical to the
RetroSound model one !!! http://www.retrosoundusa.com/products/category/id/9
you might want to look at one of these and save that AM radio for shows or events
