Original air cleaner

What's the going rate on a clean original air cleaner, all the Ebay links are toast?

I am curious too since I have an extra one.

I assume you mean the AC oval air cleaner housing, and not the aftermarket "TIGER" lettered and ribbed one.

The last couple on ebay ranged between USD$650 - 900 (calmed down a little since the 1200+ days a couple of years back)

There are some replicas made in fibregalss that externally are the same and sell for about $400.

The "TIGER" lettered ones go between 400 - 700.. though rpices on them have sometimes spiked as with the factory ones.

They are worth around $20 and I will have it please.

I always wonder what happens to the parts that were used too make the special items. I am sure the air cleaners were stamped steel.
Where is that darn die anyway?
