Buying Parts after a BBQ

Bad move, thought I was old enough. Had a lovley afternoon BBQ with family. Did some surfing on the net. Found a site with upper and lower genuine QH ball joints. So I bought them.Now I am accross the big pond in Australia so I have a shipping agent in Cal. so sellers only shipping to USA can ship to my USA address and they on ship. There was a mixup the last month or so and my shipments seem to go via Sweden? So after a long wait they arrived. Yes, genuine QH items in the greasepaper. The lowers are marked Alp4-5. The uppers ALP 1-2. Oops, now have to find someone restoring a series 1 or 2 Alpine. Dam those sherbits.

I used too do that stuff all the time...........right around cocktail hour. Ebay and cocktails = a bad combo plate.

When I stopped drinking (and therefore stopped the headaches)...... my buying got a little more clear.

Except when it comes too old Lotus cars..........I did it again, should be here in four weeks.................

Now anyone want to buy a '70 Boss 302?
