Hello all, could you guys give some guidance on a fair price on a complete set of the dealer option American Racing Silverstone mags in good shape? They have different offsets front to rear, made esp. for the tiger.

Location, size, all make a big difference. Interweb search show a wheel that looks like the same old thing 70 to 80 % of the cars have. Superlite Pannasports etc.

We would have an idea of the location if you had chosen to add something in your profile.

Please look at the threads regarding the limited ability and variety to find 13" tires.

I sold a very nice set of 13'' Pannasports for 500 bucks and I bought a 14'' a with great tires for 400. So it depends on the buyer...

The problem with the silverstone wheels is that they actually a true "mag" wheel. They are a magnesium alloy and they can go brittle and also suffer from going porus. Lots of Tigers over the years ended up crackng the wheels..

so first thing to check is there are no hairline cracks. Second what sizes are they.. are the 13x5.5 front and 13x 6.5 rear?

The price will all depend on condition and how much you want them. Do they need refinishing? Do you want them to use on a road car.. or just for displays/shows?

quite hard to give you a decent answer without more info. It's been a while since i have seen a set for sale.. but they are a rare wheel.

nobody knows anyone who can refinish these wheels??
Here in NorCal, two shops are recommended for their work.

Rite-Way, Walnut Creek CA
Wheel Techniques, Santa Clara CA

If one purely beliebs in Yelp ratings... Rite-Way has better marks. But Wheel Techniques have been around a long time and I've heard mostly good. YMMV.

PS: I think either shop could fix ANYTHING for the right amount of money. Not always the case... Display fixes are impressive...

PPS: MUST be a place out FL way... ?

I need a hi and low price on a set of 5 one never mounted. Others no visible 3" damage. I've read the cautious about the cracks, on cat only a walk about..
Ballpark no good.
