LeMans engines

Hope this isn't considered spamming...the Tigers email list is having a discussion on the LeMans Tigers at the moment- the list won't support a picture, so I'm putting it on here. I'm sure a lot of us belong to both lists anyway. The prototype had just finished a nut and bolt restoration and should be period correct. #9 was sporting Webers at the time. From 1997- 'Mule' on top, #9 car on bottom:

Great photo's reminds me of my Alpine with the 2 40DCOE webers, its a bugger to start when cold but when it does there is no sweeter sound from a four on this planet. Oh and by the way, how do I get on the list?

My first Tiger in the early 80's had the firewall cut for Webers--wish I would have finished that one.

I have always loved that pic of your engine bay.. dont see how any period mod person couldn't.. even the TIGER logo in your header tank... ... i would love that setup in a stock looking car with a LAT bonnet to accomodate the velocity stacks.
