Default May 21 C.A.T. May Meeting

The Golden Cove shopping center in Palos Verdes will be the site of our May C.A.T. meeting on Sunday, May 21. The Austin Healey Association organizes an informal coffee meet for British cars the third Sunday of every month. The coffee meet starts at 9:00 a.m. and we will be holding our meeting around 9:30 a.m. Feel free to bring a folding chair if you would like. The shopping center is located at 31250 Palos Verdes Drive West, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90274, at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd. and Palos Verdes Drive West. It is near to the ocean on the P.V. Peninsula with some beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. There may even be an organized drive around the picturesque peninsula sometime after the meeting with a stop for lunch along the way. One suggestion for a lunch is Raffaello's Pizza at 720 Yarmouth Rd, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. Actually location will be discussed at the meeting.

Please see the attached general flyer for the Golden Cove car meet.

Default My backyard

By the pizza place is also a small bistro like and lots of the local cliff dwellers exercise their Eurotrash cars and impromptu meet up. In the Golden Cove center is a Fourbucks a Subway and a 7-11 so those who like a 1.50 cup of coffee you are covered. The Subway has 3 dollar or so breakfast sandwiches. Right across the blvd. is Point Fermin Lighthouse but the parking is mostly a dirt lot as I recall so if you whale watch be prepared for a little dust. If you guys that are too far away look up some of the Tiger you tube videos you'll see Mike M. driving up the same road with the Pacific in the background.
