Thumbs up Annual C.A.T./CHiP Toy Drive - Saturday Dec. 16

It’s on again . . . the annual C.A.T. Christmas Toy Drive. Come one - come all, have some fun and make a needy child’s Christmas a good one; decorate your Tiger and bring one toy or 100 toys out to the City of Industry SpeedZone!

The date is Saturday, December 16th. The CHP, vendors, and performers will be at the SpeedZone, 17871 Castleton St, City Of Industry, CA 91748, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Santa will be there for photo ops, so bring the kids. You’ll get one SpeedZone pass for each unwrapped toy worth at least $10 you bring, good on all the rides and most arcade games. There’s food and drinks available at Johnny Rockets restaurant.

If you’re interested in caravanning out we will meet up, as in the past, at the Quad at Whittier Starbucks for coffee, cocoa, and snacks at 9:00 a.m. The Quad is located at the corner of Whittier Blvd. and Painter Ave. in Whittier. Enter the Quad at Central Ave. (just east of Painter Ave.). We will plan on leaving for the SpeedZone about 9:45 a.m., and taking a short drive to City of Industry.

We will also have our last meeting of the year after delivering all the toys.

So come on out, bring the family, and get in the Christmas spirit with the C.A.T. Toy Drive.
