Coronado Race

The Coronado Race will be held September 26 & 27 at the North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego.

It looks like 4 Sunbeams will be running: Steve Alcala in his beautiful Sebring Works Alpine, Dale A, Tom Sakai & John Morton will also be racing.

Feel free to stop by & hang out in our pits. Hope to see as many of you as possible.

Corral Pass at the North Island races

There is special parking for car clubs at the race at Coronado. You have to pay to get in but the Corral for classic and sports cars, Saturday and Sunday, is closer to the action and full up with great cars.

Steve Alcala has some passes for Sunbeams to enter the Car Corral. Contact Steven43 or me TigerBlue with an address ASAP for your pass. See you there!

Car Pool or Tailgate

I plan to drive down to Coronado early Saturday, attend the races and drive back when they are over. (Sat. only)

I have an empty seat available, (Now filled 09/22/2009) Black Tiger, top down, from San Clemente or if anyone in OC or LA County is doing the same we could meet here in SC and drive down together. Leaving the Kragan's west of I 5 at Camino de Estrella exit at 8:05 am.
