Can someone measure the depth of the cubby glove box. My car has none and I'm fabricating one as part of restoring the dash. The car is at the body shop, so I have no reference for how far back the box sits. Thanks

it's tapered.it's deeper at the bottom and tapers to a smaller depth so it doesn't hit the wiper motor. new ones are available from sunbeam specialties.
The old one I recently removed was 6-1/2". The new replacement is 6" deep along the underside of the box. Old boxes were made from one piece. Replacement box is made of two.
