Great shots Michael, I always appreciate the way you shoot images of car details- it really helps to convey how much time/energy/thought goes in to putting these cars together.

Good stuff!

I still can't get accustomed to those 4 door Falcons being muscle cars down under.

Fantastic pictures, I love the accident ones the best, they show the real racing.

Id contend they don't show real racing, they are spectacular, but generally show a lack of skill or rush of blood. Locking up the fronts and teeing the car in front is just bad driving, as us tapping them round. Good side by side, switch back passes and nice close but clean is where the real fun is. I personally feel disappointed when I see twisted metal, racing incidents happen, but many are just over enthusiastic moves where bravado and lack of thought outweigh skill.

This was the aftermath....:O

Some other action shots ... I realised I only really took pictures of the production sports and touring car races... Oops.
