I am sure it had been discussed before but I'd like to convert my generator to an alternator on my 1965 tiger. Where can I get the brackets and who has some sort of wiring diagram to guide me on what everyone would recommend. Thank you.

I bought one of Bill Martin's (Rootes Group Depot) reproduction brackets. High quality and indistinguishable from an original after you paint or powder coat it.

I bought a new 3 wire alternator and reused the origional generator brackets.
I used a threaded rod and nuts to fix the alternator in the correct position.
I may cover the threaded rod with tube to make it more origional.

does this alternator use the stock generator bracket? And what Alternator did you buy?

Thanks

Yes is uses the stock bracket, and while not looking exactly stock, does look like a period correct generator
