Was this Tiger ever sold?

It is listed on the posting of Norm1 a member. If you Google the vin a little more info is there. 0 on the Tigers archive list. The seller is still a member look in your roster and ring him up.

It would be really fun to go to the auction. I looked at whole list and I have 2 of their STAR cars so I am, really interested to see the results on both STAR marked cars the 63 VW Bug conv. and this Tiger. Would like to go.

tiger at auction

Tom, can you describe your experience with Mecum ?

What were the positives and negatives with selling a tiger that way?

Why did you go with Mecum?

thanks

The wing mirrors are different but apart from that they could be twins so you never know.

Upon Closer Inspection

Good catch by tiger260. I also just noticed no front antenna on the gooding car.

Looks as if I might have jumped the gun.

Also realized I am getting off topic.

Gooding sale: B9471139

We seem to have missed this sale. Was peeking at Monterey for next month.

This car was gorgeous...online anyway...always a big caveat.

But, thats a BIG number and makes Scottsdale results even greater (low) outliers. Auctions are weird.

Now thinking they are fully manipulated by stock market fund advisors and Malibu real estate swappers.

NOTE: This thread has TWO different cars.

B9471139

(Spolier... $154,000)
