Default Ball Joint Boots

So I am doing a lot of rework on my tiger and was looking at replacing the ball joint boots because they are all torn including the tie-rod ends. So searching around for just the boots, that will definitely be better than stock British rubber found out that Energy Suspension makes universal boots in red and black. they are 4 dollars for a set of two, from Summit. Here are the part numbers I used.

Upper Ball Joints 9-13105R
Lower BallJoints 9-13119R
Tie-Rod ends 9-13103R

Also ordered their universal bump stops which are pretty close to the smaller bump stops on the A-arms. 9-9103R.

We will see how much of a hassle they are and if they are worth it. More to Follow.

Also if anyone is looking for a smaller diameter water pump pulley March Performance Products makes a set that is smaller than the popular ford swap that everyone is using. It measures 5" in diameter. I ordered the whole set in v belt for the car March part number 1555. You can also just order the Water Pump Pulley seperately. March Part number 1553. I can verify it is a nice set up everything lined up no issues. The water pump stud was a tight fit. I blame that on the pump and not the parts. It does however help move a lot more air at idle. My only fear is that it may cause cavatation at sustained higher speeds, but I will see.

On the ordering of parts.. its always good to have cross reference numbers for things like hoses, bearing etc...stuff we might need on the road or in a rush.

for stuff like suspension where they are sunbeam specific and our suppliers make them for us to OEM spec.. its worth buying it from them to support the sunbeam parts community. I can gaurentee that summit, pepboys etc wont start making Sunbeam visor brackets, seat foams door handles etc.... a few $ more sometimes to support our suppliers keeps us all in the hobby.

That said the info and part numbers on water pump etc is great!

Personally, I'm with Moondoggie. I've purchased a ton of stuff from Rick over the years and have always been completely satisfied.

I'm not knocking rick or anyone else's merchandise. I originally bought the ball joints and other parts from him, and they are fine pieces. The dust boots, however I saw an opportunity for improvement, and I am seeing what I can work out. I have the front and rear out of the car and I am replacing/ upgrading multiple items that I sourced from multiple club vendors.

Can I call you J ???

For a first post on this forum you certainly didn't give us much information
it just reads that British stuff is junk and so let me tell you how to fix it..that's what I got, To further the problem you failed to fill in more detailed info on your bio when you joined back in 4/12/13 so we don't know who the hell you are...do you see a picture forming here ??? This is a terrific site with a wealth of info available if you approach folks in the right way.....Maybe you should just start over...

Any update on these Energy suspension boots and confirmation that these are the corrent PN. I just tore one and urethane appeals to me.
Rick does not seem to sell just the boot and the ball joint is new

The rear bump stop is also not listed in SS. has anyone found a suitable replacement?
