Trans worth?

So my survivor car has been garaged since 1972. As I'm dissembling I'm finding interesting stuff. See the factory paint markings on the trans. Is it worth any more for having these? I at least wanted to share in case anyone doing a concours resto could potentially copy the markings.

Quite often, when breaking down barn aged toys for re-hab, we'll find factory graffiti or worn tags in many places. Tiger 004 had similar hashing under the bell housing dirt. Not sure of any auction or judging values, but kinda neat just the same.

Very cool...

Far more cool than the black paint my transmission overhauler elected to cover the entire piece in. "Much easier to hide drips that way!" um, yeah... (argh)

Notably, it does at least look similar to your antiqued iron, whilst under dust

(not for long...)

Nice find, thanks for sharing.

Ford transmissions were left natural, so your restorer should have at least painted it "cast blast" or "cast iron", whatever you want to call it. Sorry, just saying....
