SUNI or Bust. (?and bust? whatever) We did it! Arrived yesterday with Bonnie and Black Tiger as planned on the 30th in time to socialize before the BBQ. Rosemary Smith is here. Great work again by Max Pahmier and his volunteer help in getting this venue and all the work to making it happen.

Concourse today. For now some pics from Monday. Th!.e "Real Tiger" has a unique grill bar. Barbed wire!

Post later about the ruptured upper hose 30 miles east of Richfield UT. AKA middle of no where.

Rick and Bonnie.

Rick,

Do you have a photo of the Tiger next to your black one?.. not the black car with LAT9's but the other side.. has a LAT bonnet and I can barely see the wheels.. but they look interesting. You have a pic of the wheels?

The matt car looks fun... needs some practice with the chalk though!

Concours SUNI 6 Tuesday

Grreat display of Rootes automobiles at the Concours including many impressively restored and or interesting Tigers for this 50th! The day started overcast with a little drizzle and improved to partial sun throughout the morning.

Sorry cannot tell, do not know, who won what. That will be announced at the Banquet?

The wheels in the last pic are 16 inch VTO. Lookalike? American Libra?

PPIR AutoX Wednesday July 2

Photos below of great fun doing parade laps of the Mile oval and road course in the infield at Pikes Peak International Raceway.

The AutoX followed on a course laid out for a national points event a few months? ago. Fast! and mostly a second gear affair. Very challenging and everyone got in 4 runs.

Sorry no pics from me on the autox as there was only one group. No working the course.

50th Aniversary

July 2nd 2014 we celebrated the 50th Wedding Anniversary of long time Tiger Owners Larry & Penny Young. They are also 50 year Tiger owners and brought their original owner Tiger to Colorado Springs for SUNI. Their children and grandchildren also came to SUNI to honor them.

Larry is a past President of CAT. (x fearless leader)

Photo below of them receiving SUNI Banner signed by friends.

July 3rd Rally

We covered almost 110 miles and saw alot of Colorado.

The Garden of the Gods was the first treat. We went on to Cripple Creek and the mining town of Victor. Roads were good mostly and the views spectacular.

Photos below, Rick
