The wife's newest toy made it 's way home yesterday. Now the real work of bolting everything together.

Photos didn't load. I couldn't resist laying a couple carpet sections in the car. This is a right hand drive car.

Randy,
Maybe I can get Reg to help me. He lives close. The good part is that this isn't my first beam that came back to my shop looking like this and all the parts are ready to be put back on. This body was rust free with no collision damage but the fiberglass was another story. Ronnie said it looked like someone had sand blasted it or sanded it with 40 grit.

We were surprised at how thin the glass top on Reg's was. A flashlight was used to find the weak areas for new Gel-coat.

wow, 2022, a look into the future, haha. Beautiful, love the red carpet.

Doug Jennings has always told me to look ahead when it comes to dealing with a Sunbeam. These are photos of the seats , console, arm rests and Les Leston steering wheel. Rick @Sunbeam Specialties had a dash made for it with all of the lettering, etc that a right hand drive LeMans would have. They used my original dash for reference when making it.

Ronnie did pretty much the same thing but this had some spots that turned out to be like pin holes where the paint was stripped off before the wife bought it. The other two that we have are the sane thin glass. If it was out in bright sun I think you could see thru it when there is no paint. We have the roof removed from car # 9112251 so Ronnie can work on it prior to working on the metal body. It needs the typical rust repairs on the lower sections.

It's starting to look like a LeMans.
