The price (Buy it Now $11,900) and the listing (1966 Sunbeam Tiger/Alpine) tells me he knows it has questionable authenticity.
It looks as though it has some good quality parts that come along with the questionable car.

Future question to ask N.M.
Why can't there be a posted red A alongside previously recorded and reported cars that have I.D. elements of a specific Tiger and like this one an obvious reshelled car.

Maybe I'll get a chance to ask him if STOA hosts another concourse training seminar. I've often said I enjoy a drinking club with a car problem . The last seminar was informative but the hang time at the well stocked cooler event was cool too.

Yes new info added to the description saying he has confirmed its a conversion.

Warren shouldnt we be adding a "T" to the alpine vin??? :D
