Look at all of the Cobras !!!! There are almost four times as many replicas
as original cars and my guess most of those will be Factory Five cars.....
The nice thing about a Tiger is there won't be another in the field. This
Saturday at the Monterey historic races there will be 30 original cobras and 173 replicas doing parade laps at noon and there would be more except that the track isn't that long...........Do us proud DUKE !!! With some brakes and a TKO you could be dangerous in that field....

WAS A BLAST!

Results yet to be posted but from what I saw, I was 5th or 6th out of over 30 cars (most replica Cobras). My fastest was a 47.1. A lone Porsche 944 turbo (prepped and trailered) ran the event best of a 41 something.

Any drag races coming up?? We're having our local 'once a year' drags at the local airport this weekend... I think their insurance allows down to 6 second cars this time... a lot of serious 'out-of-towners' show up for it !

That Cobra powerplant sounds very cool!! Did he autorcross it today??

Funny coincidence about the Ford Lightning comment above... I know 3 people who have both Tigers and Lightnings !!

Stock front, no rear, no pan hard rod, Dale A. leaf springs, Monroe shocks (I know, on the list to replace), Dan Walters torque arm (that is just magic).

Maybe in the fall, have to drive to Topeka now that they closed KCIR.

No, the owner is very old and walks with a cane. He still drives the hell out of that car though....with his elderly wife.

It drove like a truck around the course, I had expect more out of it.
