Meeting October
Great Monthly Meeting with the Tom Malloy Tour.. icing on the cake.
More than that really. The race cars accumulated by Tom are extraordinary in provenance and part of the history which he witnessed growing up as the son of a man who was a race track owner, a sponsor of Indianapolis race teams and a business man able to finance his obsession.
Tom is active in vintage racing and maintains most of the collection in running, track ready condition. He is also close to realizing the opening of a new track facility on property he owns near Lancaster CA. Tom Malloy was a great host and guide through the collection.
Eight Tigers came out for the Meeting and Tour. In the first picture left to right: MacMedan, McGaffey, Walters, Mueller, Compton, Paretti, Thoman and Michels Tigers.
I drive! Took the slightly longer route to Corona over Hwy 74, the Ortega Highway. A road feared and loved with many turns and great views as it crosses the coastal range from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore.
