C.A.T. will be hosting Tigers United TUXXXVII in June with the Santa Maria Inn as our host hotel. Santa Maria is an easy drive from both Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
The Autocross (Saturday) will be held at the Santa Maria Airport and the Concourse (Sunday) will be staged among the vines at the picturesque Cottonwood Canyon Winery, where wine tasting and cave tours will be available. The awards banquet (Sunday evening) will be held in the Inn’s Santa Maria Room.
We have blocked 50 rooms. Over half have now been reserved ((Note: Reservation information is dated. Follow this thread to see more recent availability.). Room prices at the Inn for the United begin at $129 per night (or $149 if you choose to prepay for the restaurant’s heavily discounted breakfast buffet for two). Various other room options (including suites with kitchens and capable of sleeping six) are also available. For the TU rate you should make your reservation directly through Brittany Wright at the Inn (805) 346-7930. Sales@SantaMariaInn.com
The Inn is pet friendly.
An exclusive Tiger only parking area will be set up on the roof of the hotel's parking structure where overnight security will be provided. There is no trailer parking available on site at the Santa Maria Inn so we have arranged for trailers to be parked in a special area at a sister hotel (the Radisson at the Santa Maria Airport).
The cost of event registration will be similar to recent C.A.T. TUs. We will again offer “a la carte” pricing for those who don’t want to be full participants. Early registration for full participants will be at a $20 discount while those opting for the spectator category will only be charged $10 per day (or $25 for the entire event). Banquet dinners are included for full participants but can be purchased by others separately for $35 per person. Full participants will also receive an event T-shirt along with all meals and cave tour / wine tasting at the Concours.
To make the event more family friendly, child's plates have been arranged for at the BBQ ($12) and Awards Banquet ($15). A child is 12 and younger. (At the BBQ the children's choices are beef or chicken while at the Awards Banquet chicken tenders or spaghetti are offered.)
