2bbl spacer plate

Besides the part number, does anyone know what the difference is between the carb spacer plate of a Mk1/Mk1A and a Mk2?

By the MKII part number, C5JE-9A589-A, it looks like it is a Tiger only part. If it follows the regular Ford (Fairlane,Falcon, etc. 260/289) the 289 has a bigger bore.
