Bought my tiger originally in 1974 by hounding the original owner until he finally agreed to sell. Kids, mortgages etc forced me to sell in 1981 with constant regret, especially when I saw it around town. As luck would have it we decided to move in 1997 and the guy who bought the tiger from me wanted to buy my house, so .....
Full rotisserie resto/mod started in 2002 and finished in 2006. Tigers are fairly rare around here so there is never any lack of interest at the car shows. We did make it to the tigers united in Grant's Pass as we were at the same one with the same car 30 years earlier! It was as much fun as the first time but a long haul - 1400 miles one way - when you're accustomed to air conditioning, cruise control, stereo etc.
Great to be part of the tiger community again and the car will not be leaving this family for a long time.
