It's been a Long time since I bought a TO Bearing for a street car.

But one thing I did conclude, Long ago, IF the TO Bearing starts out with Radial play in the bearing,

there is more chance of it only getting worse.

Here is a list of part Numbers I have found on the web

that look like functionally the same part and/or the same part re-boxed? :

BCA NB614034

BCA NB614038

Center Force N1439

Hays 70-230

Mcleod 16031

Ram 485

Ram 1439SA

SKF N1444

Based on the web pictures, my guess is the 614038 looks best.

However, one source suggests that bearing is to be used only with a Diaphragm PP,

and NOT for the original 3 finger type. Hmmmmm...

Any history on a part number?

I bought yhe Center Force N1439. Was recommended by the owner of a speed shop , dealing with only high performance . I saw a major difference compare to the cheap stuff. !!!! ( I have a 3 finger type )

Recent issues with TOBs have brought up other things.

Namely, inside bore size.

If the main hole bore size is too big, there is excess play and inconsistent PP movement.

The jury is still out as far as the BEST TOB!

Any info as far as known part Bore sizes is welcome.
