Cubby Door?

I am going to make a glove box door when I refinish my dash. What style hinge is best? Pics are appreciated.

A good reference are the prestige dash, look at dukes old posts of his dash install. Basically use a hinge that will just have the small rotating component at the base sticking out in a subtle way. Or you could make a door with a recess so they are completely concealed. I'll try and take pics of mine tomorrow

Prestige and other really sharp looking dashes have the cubby door and the dash made from the same sheet of veneer so the grain matches across the joints.

My Prestige dash has the grain mirrored from the center of the dash.

Sticking any grained door into the door is going to look just like that. Something stuck in.
