LA Shelby Street of Willow, Sat. July 15th

Had a Hot Time at LA Shelby, was the hottest July 15th on record, 113 in Rosemond. If you add up the entry fees, race gas and all the other expenses, cost was close to $300. I was on the track for five sessions at about 6 laps a session-- so 30 laps at $10 bucks a lap. (I could've taken another 3 sessions, but was exhausted by the heat). Most fun I've had in a Sunbeam this year--and I've had a a lot of fun in Sunbeams this year. Thanks to Dan W. for letting me run his Alpine.

LA Shelby rents Streets of Willow in the hot summer mouths to get the discount rate. Willow Springs Raceway is ending that policy. So LA Shelby is going to have to raise their rates, but will be moving their date to the Spring ( April 2024?). That'll be way more Tiger friendly. So get your roll bars installed and get ready to run on the best Tiger track on the West Coast.

Love the single hoop bars.. so sad they are illegal to run here in comp ( can for track days and regularity)
