Newbie to Tiger looking for best practice on changing out motor mounts - 66 model
Not bad on a stock set-up. Headers (etc.) can be a trying moment or three. Carefully jack it up and support it solid with safeties. Put some "gentle" up pressure on the oil pan with a wide wood block. Two bolts & one nut per side with a bit of wiggle & jiggle. And yes, the LH & RH are diff. Yer done.

There is an artcile a few years ago from CAT about issues with different mfg of the mounts...
@0neoffive maybe you can give him the part # and mfg of ones that fit well

I have more than I could ever use. I'll try to dig em out . Some are preferred to others is there a brand or some marks to look for?

Easiest way to do it is remove the carb and bolt a lift plate to the intake. You can then take the weight off of the motor mounts with an engine hoist. Unbolt the cast hangers from the body, then unbolt the motor mount from the hanger. You can then fish the cast hanger out and unbolt the mounts from the engine. Even with headers, this method makes it pretty easy.
