Overpressure SBF problems

One of the tendancies of the modified SBF is to build excess crankcase pressure. It just does it for spite! Nick Acton, the Cobra parts guy, from Acton Enterprises (no affiliation) offers up some neat valve cover venting options to cure these ills. He can and will steer the attachments for you to meet Tiger clearance specs. Worth a visit to his photo site to grab ideas . . .

Another Make-It guy

Jim...

Here you go....http://www.actoncustom.com/index.htm

He does make some nice stuff for Cobras and of course
many of those trinkits wound up on Tigers as LAT kits....

He is an inovative thinker for a transplanted Kiwi. The immediate surrounding towns are chuck full of creative car nuts, also. Those long Nor'east winters keep the boys playing in their toy shops. Why buy it, when you can try a few dozen times to make it ??

He doesn't have valve covers that I know of but he does have a
custom PVC flange and puke tank flange that is listed for the 427 Comp Cobra

http://www.actoncustom.com/engineaccessories.htm

They are designed to fit in the side wall of a cast Le Mans valve cover
but I don't see why they wouldn't work on 289 aluminum covers..

Pressure is not a problem in a SB until you get into 7,000 - 8,000 rpm range
so I wouldn't worry to much about it....

I like these but might be too tall for a Tiger.
