We've received inquiries about parking costs at the Queen Mary.
As in most large cities, most hotels in the Long Beach area charge for parking. At the Queen Mary, the normal rate for visitor car parking is $15 per entrance (no in/out privileges) while guests of the hotel pay $12 per day with in/out privileges.
All TU Participants will received discounted parking. Car parking will be $10 per day with in/out for all participants.
The cost of parking a tow vehicle and trailer will also be discounted for us. We will pay $25 for each entrance. For example, if you arrive at the Queen on Thursday afternoon, park in the special over-sized vehicle lot, unload and then not move your rig until Monday morning departure, you would pay $25 for rig parking for the entire event. You would also pay $10/day for your Tiger's car parking in the special Tiger-only area (with overnight security guard) for each of the four nights. Your total parking bill would be $65 ($25+4days*$10). (You might even get by with only 3 days parking for your Tiger which would save another $10).
Participants staying at the Hotel will have the $10/night car parking fee added to their Hotel bill. Participants not staying at the Hotel will get a time stamped ticket from the machine when they enter the parking lot. They can exchange this ticket at the Hotel's Registration Desk in the main lobby for a daily pass by paying $10.
