Stamping Valve Cover Engine Tag

Hello

I am seeking guidance on stamping the valve cover engine tag.

I have a blank tag and wanted to know the correct font and best method for stamping a blank tag. I am building a correct stock 260 for my very early Tiger (0033/E7KL engine group).

Jim if you mean the sticker on the valve cover.. A typewriter with correct size font.

On the old mail list there were details on font and size

Thanks. I had heard about using typewriter and priced a few out. Think I need to find a less costly option. I searched the Tiger List, but came up empty handed.

I've done a couple.. I used 1/8" letter and number stamps made by "Gruv Grip". pics attached

Wouldn't your car have a label that read "Rootes" instead of "Sunbeam"??
