The Archive Trustees issued this a few days ago.
We're terribly sad to tell you that Sir Stirling Moss, all-time motor racing legend and ex Rootes works driver passed away early this morning, Easter Sunday, surrounded by his family.
Our condolences go to all his family.
Stirling was a great hero in the Rootes world and we were immensely privileged that he took the time to launch our Archive building fund for us at the 2015 NEC Classic car show alongside Rosemary Smith and our late Chairman Gordon Jarvis
