My adult son, a very experianced deisel fitter/ mechanic has now completed the swap from a heh mustang toploader with the Tiger toploader.
Now the Tiger box had less than 30K on it before the Tiger was stored.
We have swapped the wide band mustang gears with the narrow band tiger gear set.
So what is the expected value of a heh toploader fully rebuilt with a Narrow band gearset from a doner box that had only 26K miles on it?

Naturally the Tiger box is going back in the Tiger/

Steven, I'm guessing you are in Australia still ... So posting this on cat won't yeild much in the way of a useful response . the c/r sets are valuable to the group n historic race guys ... That's about it..

The guy is a walking encyclopedia on toploaders

I know he told me that he does a 'lot' of transmission work for the 'racers' in OZ and he may have a lead for you.
His shop hours are noon to midnight EST and he said that was to do with the time difference with OZ ... really, that's what he said !
