Has been sold to CrossHarbor- an equity firm. On site vendors have been told to leave by the end of March. Sad day for racing...
 
It's a bit early to write the history of Willow, BUT,

Let me count the So Cal "permanent" Race tracks

I have been to that have closed (that I can think of...)

Ascot

Carlsbad

Fontana x 2 (Drag and circle/Road)

Irwindale x 2 (drag and circle)

Lyons

Orange Co.

Ontario

Palmdale

Riverside

Based on So Cal's history,

WHEN Willow closes, it won't be the First...

But there is a fair chance it may be the LAST...

This just makes this weekends VARA races worth going to. Might be the last visit, which sucks.
