I understand that Tiger differentials were fitted with a factory tag that was stamped with the correct gear ratio. Can anyone post a picture of what one of these tags looks like? I've searched the internet but obviously in the wrong places since I have not been able to locate a picture of one. Thanks for any help.

I have a picture of one. It came from a training seminar of STOA. They said they would be sharing the pictures and information.

Here's a pic of mine. Don't think it has any gear ratio info.
Edit: I guess it is the ring and pinion tooth count: 2.88 ratio.

Yeah, B9471532 has a stock open rearend, with a stockish 260. Rear end stamping matches factory ledger.

My housing has correct stamping on it but everything else was changed... it has 3.54 gears and a tag that says 'twin traction' ( Studebaker ) and the yoke is also different as there's no flange!

From my MKII.reardifferentialtag.jpg Was it confirmed the 49/17 indicates 2.88 gear ratio? The arithmetic seems solid 49 ÷ 17 = 2.88. I was told that there'd be no math today.
