Tiger brakes, hub and Wilwood drop spindles getting set up. Replacing the stock style spindles with these Wilwood version and all the related stuff like brakes as the old style I used are lug mount calipers and the Wilwood uses a more conventional caliper mount that is, of course, different.
The upside is that the 12.19" rotors get bumped to 13.06" and the calipers are a bit thinner being Superlite 6 narrow, so might be able clear inside of wheel without the 1/4" spacer. Will be close, but no big deal either way.
Have a set of Wilwood hubs for Mustang II suspension, so starting with that. The make 2 offsets with the MII hubs, will see if the ones I have will work with the hat I have.
13" rotors and Wilwood FNSL6R "Racing" calipers getting set up. Need to find a brake hat that will work. I had one that was the wrong size (1.38" offset) I had got a few years back that was for my 65 Mustang. Seems like it's going to work so only need one more. Now to see if things can be shimmed to center the caliper on the rotor. Standard stuff it seems.
Mess of Wilwood parts ready to see what might work.
Wilwood Hub, nicely made part.
Tossed in a couple of bearings
After tossing in a few shims it's pretty close. The brake hat and offset of the hub flange determine if the set up will work, and adding /subtracting shims to offset get the job done
Put in a set of pads. It's pretty close, could go another round with shims but will wait until I get a selection of shims and spacers.
