Rainy day...puttering around in the garage...have a metal coat hanger laying around...got an idea! My car didn't come with visors or hardware. What I picked up 35 years ago was already well used and the brackets are slightly mushroomed on the ends. They <mostly> stay up, but every few miles I unconsciously give it a backhand as they start to droop.
I have a hard top, so it occurred to me that I might be able to make a little clip of sorts to keep the visor up. Enter the coat hanger. Cut off part of the straight leg and proceeded to make a series of bends. Test. Bend again. Solder ends where they met. Drop in Plasti Dip. Done! Let's hear it for rainy days LOL!! Kirk
