I just finished off the restoration of this car for a friend of a friend of a friend. Most of the restoration, including paint was done by Dale about ten years ago. It is an original code 100 Mediterranean Blue car done in that color and comes with a finished and painted steel hood in addition to the fiberglass one on the car now. The car has been TAC'd
I know there are probably not a lot of members here wanting to add another car to the collection but if anyone knows anyone who might be looking for one of these, I can put them in touch with the owner.
A price has not firmly been set yet but anyone can PM me for more details.

That is a stunning car... And for once the MKII stripes and black sills look ok as the med blue sets them off nicely.... It's just so good to look at!

Id love to add it to my stable.. but sadly not an option.. only "comment" I'd have is there seems to be a lot of added bling in the engine bay... Given the rest of it is all correct the chrome scuttle braces, latch tray, latch hardware, fan shroud and header tank seem a bit out of place on what otherwise looks a very correct car.

Either way... Still gorgeous 🤤

What's the engine spec ? Rear end? All standard brakes, trans etc?

Thanks Michael
The chrome was all done and in place when I got the car. I'm not opposed to chrome on a few items in the engine bay but I agree there is too much here. The owner didn't have an unlimited budget so we decided not to undo anything that was already in place. De-chroming is a lot less expensive than chroming so a future owner can go that route if desired.
I agree on the sill trims. The car didn't come to me with them but I was able to get a set from Warren. I had to fabricate clips for them and think they really set the car off with everything done.
I believe the engine is original to the car and has has the stock heads and a moderate cam with hydraulic flat tappet lifters. It has black ceramic coated tube headers and a stainless steel exhaust. Brakes are all stock outside of some fancy looking red front pads. Stock transmission and the rear end is limited slip. There's also a chrome oil pan and rear end cover underneath
The reverse lights have been deleted.
I have to thank Mike Mulvey, Sean - Austin Healer, Brian - mr55s and Warren for all their help with parts, advice and providing me with MKII details to help get this done.
