Oil Temp Gauge

Any info on this oil temp gauge? Was this an option? I thought it was something the previous owner added, but I have seen it on other Tigers.

Its notan option, there was no oil temp gauge option.
Its also a stewart warner gauge.. All the sunbeam gauges are British Jaeger for main and smiths for optional clock and lucas for optional ammeter

The gauge you have may be valuable to cobra or gt350 guys ...

It's in the clock or Motif hole. Us VW types were really concerned with oil temp and cylinder head as well. The Rootes motif are pretty common if you are looking for a hole filler.
