Hey Gurus,
Got a set of steel wheels off an Alpine V with the hubcaps and slotted rings (not cross spoke looking)
Appear to be light yellow or grey color.
Need clean up and repaint, but not sure of original Mark I color.
My Mark I is Embassy Black.
Would someone be able to tell me what color the stock steel wheels would have been? What might be a currently available spray color that may be close?
Thanks in advance.

It now appears I posted this in wrong area. Should be in stock Tiger (body?) section. Don't know how to move. As always, happy to be corrected

The original wheel color for MK1 Tigers was Rootes color #8 Foam White, The DuPont color code is 83745

As @Austin Healer staes it's code #8 ..though also referred to by Rootes as "foam grey" .. it's is a very off-white looking colour that in some lights can be ivory.. in some can appear grey

Aalo this was only on the FRONT side of the wheel. The wheels are satin black and the light colour was applied over with some speckling going through the holes.

Another BIG note... After painting REMOVE THE PAINT FROM THE RECESS WHERE THE WHEEL NUTS SEAT. THEY SHOULD NOT BE PAINTED. If painted the nuts can't be torqued correctly and the paint allows vibration and they loosen...move and round the wheel stud holes.
