Paint codes

Hi

I know that there has been a lot of discussion about this in the past from a search of previous threads. However, I still have a problem. Here in darkest France our bodyshops do not have the facilities to perform a 'scan and match' of colour to an individual car.
I need to find a PPG paint code for Carnival Red if for nothing else a starting point for a match. I have a Sikkens paint code but can find no conversion to PPG. I think in the US PPG is the same as Ditzler.
I am fairly desperate as my bodyshop are ready to spray and cannot find a match. Any help would be fantastic.

Is that code 58? i have all the codes for various colours in an archive somewhere... as we all know.. depending on who mixes and the variance in the bases.. your results may vary......

Any of you guys going to the 50th Anniversary celebrations at Le Mans in July? We have about 50 cars from the UK and Europe going with the S.T.O.C. it would be great to see some of you there !

I can't go, but a couple of vintage 289 SBF's we built are there with Ives Courage. Rumor has it that they will be used for vintage Cobra racing ?? Something in the rules about correct block date codes, etc?
