Was waiting on a long bolt from McMaster to finish off the Wilwood pedal install. Needed a 6.5" bolt as the 6" one I initially got was just too short. Really needed 6.25" so has to trim a bit. This adds a little more support to the Wilwood pedal assembly by connecting the end that is furthest away from the firewall to the top of the cowl (the part right above your feed I guess). Their is a tube that fits between the inside of the cowl to the top of the Wilwood pedal to keep it from just crushing in when the bolt is tightened. First picture shows bolt and tubing spacer.
On my car I had to add an extra layer of sheet metal on top of the hacked up metal the PO left me. So not super strong but 2 layers of sheet metal and a welded on square to help a bit. The firewall side was "Enhanced" by removing the stock Tiger, and replacing with 3/16" plate with the patterns for the pedals. In addition I added a small brace from the bottom of that panel to the top of the inner wheel well. Like what is on the other side on my Tiger (I think used for mounting the vacuum booster).
