I’m working with a restoration shop in New England who has a nearly-complete performance Tiger drive train available. Sorry, but the toploader, linkage and shifter handle were already spoken for. Here’s the story:

A Tiger owner took his car to the restorer to revert it back to stock. It had been fitted with a new 347 stroker with headers and huge radiator, a Ford 9” rear and a custom 5-lug front end believed to be Mustang with big Wilwood brakes. I understand all the parts are still in as-new condition but since they’re no longer needed, they’re up for sale.

I have no role in this deal other than to pass along information. So, if anyone has interest you can call, email or PM me and I’ll give you methods of contact. You can take it from there.

Looks like it had a Hurst Comp Plus shifter was installed, looking at the mount on the tailshaft, also a Lakewood scatter shield... The only way to mount a narrow case close ratio gearbox on a 6 bolt block... By some strange coincidence I just had a car in the shop with the very same setup.

I was informed yesterday that the 347 Stroker has been sold. The other parts are still available.

Sorry, Kragh, but I don't know the selling price tho I got the sense the owner would have taken a deep discount to move it (and the other parts) along.

Like everything in the Tiger world, general $ result is to buy high and sell low. I just got my 13th Tiger from my best friend, Bruce Hill of 41+ years that just passed. He was a go fast guy - engine he built and is the car pulled 429 HP at 5600 RPM, with 423 foot-pounds of torque on dyno and to be honest is a little more engine than a Tiger needs for driving around town in my opinon (car is scarry fast with close ratio trans, 3:31 rear - always have to think twice before pressing the accelerator pedal for sure).
