Picture and video upload limits on the new forum

Images are limited to 15.36 MB, no pixel limit. Videos and audio clips are also limited to 15.36MB.

I usually resize my photos to 1024 x 768 before uploading just to help a little with storage costs. Does this mean we don't really need to worry about that so much going forward?

That's appreciated but it's not a huge deal. As long as the photo is JPEG encoded and not in a 'raw' format such as BMP, we should get a good tradeoff between rendering and storage size.

Downsizing to 1024x768 is great, you can get most info needed at that res for basic internet needs .

As a sidenote of you a software like ProJPEG or boxtop you can write large high-quality images at 2100x3000 amd a file size of 200kb without heavy feathering or down sampling
